Thailand experiences a tropical climate, meaning the country is warm and humid throughout the year. The average temperature is around 28°C to 35°C, but it can get as hot as 40°C during the hot season, which runs from March to June. The temperature will decrease a little in the rainy season (July to October), but the humidity will rise and heavy rain will fall frequently.
If you plan to visit the country on holiday, you can apply for a tourist visa, which is valid for 60 days and can be extended for another 30 days. If you plan to stay long-term, you may need to apply for a non-immigrant visa, which is valid for 90 days and can be extended for 1 year.
